OUR STUD BERNER

Absolutely GORGEOUS MALE BERNESE MOUNTAIN DOG. Silky soft fur, perfect markings, APPROXIMATELY 125 LBS. Spurgeon has the BEST PERSONALITY. 


He's loveable like a teddy bear (loves to give hugs), playful like a toddler (likes to frolick/bound across the yard) and VERY TRAINABLE. He takes commands/instruction very well. 

LIFE ON THE FARM

We live on a 3.21 acre farm on the mid coast of Maine so he gets a ton of room to play/roam/exercise. He is my 4th Berner (had them for 27+ years) and he is by far my favorite. I hadn't thought of breeding him until I realized it would be a shame to stop his great lineage.

AKC REGISTERED AND OFA Hips & Elbows CLEARED/POSITIVE TESTS. He comes from a line of impressive Bernese Mountain Dogs. Spurgeon has all the necessary health screenings, including OFA hip, elbow, and dysplasia, as well as DNA testing for common Bernese Mountain Dog health issues.

    Spurgeon was born Aug 5, 2018 and is a breeding/stud male Bernese Mountain Dog with an exceptional temperament and excellent health.

    Our stud free is $1500 and we are happy to discuss stud fee in lieu of litter choice or litter choice depending on our needs at the time of breeding. We can negotiate travel, meet up and “date” within the New England area. We are located in Warren, next to Rockland and Camden on the mid coast of Maine. 


    We offer stud services for Spurgeon to approved females only. Before breeding, all females must undergo health screenings to ensure that they're healthy and free from any genetic health issues. We also require proof of up-to-date vaccinations and a negative brucellosis test. In addition, we offer a live breeding or artificial insemination option, depending on the female's location and preference.
